Proof that I’m lost…

I accidentally erased all of the posts with the last message when I tried to delete the message. Do not judge me too harshly. I’m still getting acclamated to this tech environment. In a year I’ll be setting up blog pages for all of you!
Clumsily yours,
Nathan

  1. Don’t worry, your fans still love you. :)
I sent you an email explaining how it all works…

    * This is a test. If this works, my first response to a post was successful!

  2. Heh, not a biggie, we can repost anyway.
Also, I love the ambutee gingerbreadman favicon you use.

    * The gingerbread man is all Eugenia. She’s good!

  4. Hey Nathan…
I back up all of my work after a family member accidentally erased ALL of my files years ago. So here is my post again!!
    Hello Nathan…
I sincerely hope that Invasion is the vehicle that exposes you to new heights and rockets your career. You certainly have a lot of fans, which I am sure you will see on this blog real soon. You say you “intend to be an accomplished actor? You already ARE!! And you are fortunate to be surrounded by other accomplished actors who make up the balance of characters in Invasion. That does not happen too often and you are taking good advantage of it by using them as “teachers”. (And the scriptwriting is intelligent as well, which doesn’t happen too often either.) If you ever do theater in New York (while on hiatus from Invasion of course), please let us know! I, for one, would love to see you in a dramatic play! I have to add that I started watching Invasion because of William Fichtner, but I am glad to have found a new (handsome) face with talent. I wish for you a highly explosive acting career!!! Good luck!

    * Thanks AJ. I’m very fortunate to have this site now because it gives me an unprecedented opportunity to keep my friends up to date on my projects. I’ll now be able to let anyone interested know what I’m up to at all times. By the way I saw a site (I think its yours) that had a charcoal drawing of Bill Fichtner’s face, which I think you sketched. If so you do really great work. It was remarkably accurate. I told Bill about it a couple days ago. Keep it up.

  5. Don’t worry about accidently deleting any posts Nathan !!
I’m always making mistakes and still cannot type for anything ;-)
It is so cool of you to do this and here’s to hoping Invasion is given a renewal and to seeing plenty of Lewis .. Lewis is really awesome and love the fact he brings God and Faith to the Invasion Series .. Kudos Nathan ..

    Pamela

    * Thanks Pamela. I look forward to the faith conversation being further explored on the show. Lewis certainly has something valuable to contribute. I’m trying to create a character who is a good man but flawed so that there’s room to explore some darker elements of his psyche. I think that the struggle between good and bad in all of us makes spirituality entirely relevent.

  6. LOL!!! I love it - “I delete; therefore, I am.” ;)

Actually, I kind of like not having a momentary thought permanently cemented on the net. Besides, you (both Nathan and Eugenia) had already read our posts - which is a nice & attentive rarity, indeed.

Good news on the film entering the fest - enjoy!
    Have fun looping!
    Yours truly -

    * Thanks Joanna. And I did have fun looping. The stuff I saw turned out good too. The next new episode should be great.

  7. Hi Nathan…

It is me Pamela again :-)
I wanted to say THANKS AGAIN for responding to me on the TUX TUBS board .. I couldn’t do the reply thingy so Eugenia said to let you know here !!
Anyway I think it is so COOL you do this and take the time to come here and post !!
I’m looking forward seeing more about Lewis on Invasion and I would like to see Lewis find some romance too ;-) I’m a total shipper and always into the couples and already shipping for Lewis & Kira .. I hope that is ok ?

    Pamela

    * What’s a shipper?

  8. Hello Nathan

Kim and I would like to say hi and congratulate you on the job you are doing. Kim tried to email you a little while back but your email would not go through. Rich, Jeannie and Kim and Krista Wickerham say hi. I know Kim would like to keep in contact with you. Take care and good luck with everything. Please tell Ed and Julie that Kim and Darren say hi.

    Darren and Kim Jones

    * Hi Darren and Kimmie. I’m glad you got through. My e-mail was doing a spam blocker that was blocking people from e-mailing. But I took it off now so you should be able to get through. Take care and give my love to everybody.

  9. I just saw the new Invasion episode. The creaturish thing was well played, and the Kira-Lewis relationship was also a nice twist. But if there’s one thing I hate about Invasion, it’s the “Whats-coming-next-week” things after the show. It makes me wish that Wednesday was the only day on the calendar.

    Waiting in excruciatingly painful suspense,
    Bob from Tuxtops

    * Hey Bob. I know the feeling. Only, I wish I knew whether, “Next time on Invasion” meant next week, two weeks, a month, or never.

  10. I was so excited to be the first to leave a comment on your blog. But as one who most often calls the computer a “confuser” I totally understand. : ) I have to give you kudos on this latest episode. You play uncomfortable so well. Your character is so real but what I like the most is how Lewis is naive but we see real strength underneath. Keep up the good work. Even perhaps a next season? Please, please, please?

    * I’m sorry to lose the first blog posts but you’ll get credit from posterity for leaving the first “official” post.
    Thanks for your persistence!
I’m glad you liked the work from the last epoisode. There was a lot of really cool stuff that was cut to make room for the monster storyline. Unfortunately there was no room for it. But next time…

  11. Hi Nathan, I’ve always told Julie that you look like a young Patrick Swayzee. Continued success with your career. Hope the family is well.

    * Thanks, the family is well. Young Patrick Swayzee? I’ve never heard that. I’ll take it though. Did you ever see The Outsiders?
    Hope you’re well.

  12. Great episode yesterday. I got to love Deputy Lewis even more!

Nathan, please blog more! I am reloading your blog all the time to check for any new posts by you! Please don’t forget us! :)

    Love,
    Tiff

    * I will blog more now that I have a sense of how to do it. I was away for a while until I figured it all out, but here I am, Tiff!

  13. Nathan…

I had dinner with some friends last night who are absolutely hooked on Invasion. They said it is now one of their favorite shows and Lewis is the beloved! No doubt you’re gaining quite a flock of groupies.

    * Thank you. I’ve never had groupies before. Feels weird. Kind’a nice though.

  14. Well is your earthlink account not working? Anyways, I wanted to get ahold of you some how so we can just talk. I really don’t feel like posting for everyone to see if you know what I mean. Hope to hear from you soon. Good Luck with everything and great job on Invasion. It is what I look forward to each week. Tell all your family that I say hello.

    Love Always,
    Kimmee

  15. Hi Nathan,
Thank you so much for your replies!

As for the “shipper” thing Pamela mentions, I hadn’t heard that term before I visited the Invasion-Forum.com, but it’s probably used at most forums, I’m guessing. It’s where people speculate on the existing relationships in a show or those that they would like to see. I guess I’m a shipper, too, but I like to let the plots and characters unfold however they do - in this case, following the Gospel according to Mr. Cassidy ;)

    Comment by Joanna — February 12, 2006 @ 11:01 am

  16. Sorry Nathan and Thanks Joanna for the explanation to Nathan about the meaning LOL
I think it would be interesting watching the friendship between Lewis and Kira become romantic eventually but first we need to keep Invasion on to allow it to happen so if you hear anything about Invasion Nathan please let us know as we are all hoping it stays on and is given a renewal ?

    Take Care !!
    Pamela

  17. Personally, I think that the Kira-Lewis-Glowfish love triangle is intriguing. There is no glowfish, you say? Well, you’re right. But I’m not sure if there’s such a thing as a love line.

Anyway, now that I’ve digressed a few miles, the Kira-Lews love line intrigues me mainly because of Tom Underlay; he has a close work relationship with Lewis, who respects him deeply, and a nonexistant relationship with Kira. However, he’s deeply protective of his one daughter… I don’t know, there’s just huge potential for a subplot right there.

    Comment by Bob — February 12, 2006 @ 6:03 pm

  18. I agree .. Lewis and Kira have the making of a unlikely yet captivating couple to watch ..
Nathan Shaun siad some great things about you and they are all true :-)

  19. >* Thank you. I’ve never had groupies before. Feels weird. Kind’a nice though.

Perhaps you should ask the boss about that. Some of us Shaun Cassidy fans have been around for *cough* 29-30 years (I can’t POSSIBLY be that old!). Of course, Shaun had to shake his tail feathers in a pair of skin tight spandex pants…your approach is much more mellow…LOL

  20. I was just wondering do you guys at Invasion ever check your Fan Mail? I was just cause I sent William Fichtner a few weeks ago and I was wondering if any of the cast check their mail? What about you do you have a Fan address?

  21. Hey Nathan,
I just wanted to say I’m really sorry about my last comment, because it kind of sounded like all about Wiliiam Fichtner, and I didn’t mean for it to be like that. I’m 13 and Your Acting is really Amazing! Keep up the awesome Work :)

    Love, Holly

  22. Nathan ,

Is there anyone on Invasion you would like to get the chance to work with more ?
I’d love to see some Lewis and Dave scenes LOL

  23. Greetings from your Northern Nevada Fan Club! We love Invasion and are really fond of Lewis. Keep up the good work!

  24. I was sitting down for a screening of the new episode last Wednesday (they always do an open-invite lunch buffet screening on the day of) and Shaun, who was sitting behind me, asked, “Have you ever had any scenes with Dave?” I replied “not really”. He said, “I think we’re going to do that. Give you some stuff together”. I was ecstatic. I enjoy hanging out with Tyler and to work with him would be a ton of fun. I doubt we’d get much work done though.

    Comment by Nathan Baesel — March 14, 2006 @ 2:44 pm

  25. YEA !! I’d love to see you and Tyler in scenes together :-)
Think of all the great dialogue and fun Lewis and Dave can into ;-)
