Feeling good in the ‘08

Not sure why but it feels like a corner has been turned and this will be a different year. A healthy year. A productive year. I quit booze and dope and the focus has already been remarkably defined. There’s no relying on others for creative or financial gain. A self reliance is called for and a quiet confidence. The confidence that comes with knowledge (knowledge without proof which I think is called faith) that things are right as they are. More wisdom for 2008. More striving and compassion. A little luck is always nice. Deep breaths and examining the sky often without birds shrieking their demands for my attention.

  2. Happy New Year, Nathan and thank you for the inspiring sentiments. I have been feeling the same way and I’m a bit giddy over this new leaf I’ve turned - really amazing - I mean, it’s still a process, in progress, but the focus, the switch, has flipped and I am hopeful about continuing to “work it” positively from within. May you and your family happily continue with a wonderful year!!!

  3. I should say you should! I re-watched BTM after spotting it at Rogers and was reminded of how awesome you are. I am doing my part by making everyone I know watch it too :)

PS- I also rented Hellrasier: Deader against my better instincts and it sucked donkey balls. A tip from me to you.

  5. Hey just caught Behind the Mask on Starz and I really liked it! You’re hilarious!

I hope everything goes great for both your career and your family. You’re a really great actor and you deserve the best!

(Some of the other actors in the film… not so much. But you were good [and attractive]!)

  6. Hey, Nathan. I have read your previous blog posts, and I’m terribly sorry that BTM was not a bigger success in theaters. I was one of the college students who rented it on DVD, and absoultely loved it. That is not an easy accomplishment, either, as I’m a bit of a movie snob. I look forward to a sequel, if there’s a possibility of that (I know the writer has expressed some interest), and look forward to seeing more of your work in the future! Thanks!
